In this article, I'll be going through with you the top 5 flight simulator controllers available to complete your experience as a pilot in the virtual world. Whether you are a novice, a hardcore or even a casual flight simulation gamer on the PC, it is highly recommended to have some sort of flight simulator controllers to improve your overall gaming experience on your PC. The most basic of the gears, the joystick, together with other flight sim gaming gears, will grant you a realistic feeling of flying in the cockpit of an aircraft.

1. Joystick / Flight Stick

Precise movements are what you want in a flight simulator game and the flight stick is ideal for this function. Flight sticks are used by fighter pilots for navigating the aircraft and firing missiles and guns. The joystick has been around for ages and has improved dramatically since the first PC joysticks of the 80's. It is the cheapest addition to your setup, but go a long way to add realism and fun.

2. Throttle Controllers

These flight simulator controller include several levers, which you adjust to control parameters in the flight simulation game such as throttle, fuel mixture, and elevator trim. These give you analog control over the values, and stay in a given position after you move it there.

3. Flight Yoke

Flight Yoke is a flight control gear you hold in both hands and is very similar to a steering wheel except that it resembles the control yoke found on many aircraft and has two axes of movement: not only rotational movement about the shaft of the yoke, but also a forward-and-backward axis equivalent to that of pitch control on the yoke of an aircraft. Should you use a yoke or stick ? Well it depends on what you are flying. Jumbo jets (except for the new Airbuses), classic aircraft, and most general aviation twins and single engines are controlled with a yoke. Military jets and some of the new glass cockpit props and many of the new microjets are controlled using a flight stick.

4. Rudder Controllers and Pedals

Pedals let you use your foot to command the rudder and toe brakes of the aircraft in your flight simulator game (just like the gas pedal and brake in a car). Pedals also help with dealing with crosswinds, turning, and control during taxiing.

5. TrackIR

TrackIR is an optical motion tracking controller that tracks head motions, allowing handsfree view control for improved game immersiveness and situational awareness. Head position and orientation are measured by a purpose-built video camera, mounted on top of the user's monitor, which observes invisible infrared (IR) light (hence the name) reflected or emitted by marks on a rigid model worn by the user.

How far will you go in achieving the sense of realism in flying? Well, explore the offerings at a computer store or online store such as Amazon or go to a review site and then decide which gear or combination of controls best suits your budget and preferences.

Video games provide a powerful virtual environment for the players, which makes them feel to be part of that digital environment. On the other hand, a game player controls the game-play through input devices, such as mouse and keyboard. This data is then processed by the game and then transmitted back to the player through output devices, which includes the sound through speakers and the graphics through computer screen or monitor. Computer audio can be delivered through speakers or headphones, let us explore these computer components and understand their effectiveness in the video games.

Headsets For Gaming
A computer headset is also known as headphones which is a small piece of computer hardware. Headsets are directly wearable on the head of the user in such a way that the two speaker cups rest parallel to the ears. In this manner, the computer audio is delivered directly to the ears of the user, without affecting other people in the surroundings. Secondly headphones can have a built-in microphone, which is a small input device responsible for delivering the user's audio into the computer. In short gaming headphones are best for use by a single person, where the user does not want to disturb the other people in the room. For example, you can play your favorite video game with full volume while your friends are sleeping in the same room.

Speakers For Gaming
Computer speaker systems are used to deliver high quality sound in such a way that the sound will rock the room with high frequency rumble and beats, a similar audio environment that you notice in a cinema theater. In such a situation you will feel the sound coming alive with audio coming from different corners of the room. A professional gamer speaker system typically consists of two satellites with acoustic speakers, a high bass generating subwoofer and possibly a separate wired remote with audio controls. If there is no separate remote, then the audio controllers will be provided on one of the speaker satellites, however epic gamers prefer separate remote for controlling the game audio. Speaker systems are best when sound is needed on a larger scale, for example: sound delivered in the full room.

Coverage Area And Audience
The main difference between the gamer headphone and the speaker system is the coverage area and the number of users listening the sound. Secondly the difference is the number of users that can listen to the sound, as discussed in the above sections, the headset for gaming is only for one person, while the speakers deliver the sound on a larger scale and more than one person can listen high volume sound easily.

Rift quests are the basis of the popular MMORPG, there are numerous depths of these through the game regardless of your race or calling. There are not just one type of quest however there are different types and in this guide I'll describe the different types which will help you understand which ones are right for you.

The first type you'll notice is the storyline type. This is the main story of either The Guardians or The Defiant. Most of these are solo type missions for you to go through alone however you may end up in a position here you may need the help of some more people. You are given rewards for completing these missions and you can also get yourself some rare rewards for completing off storyline missions in the game. As you play because you may notice that you receive more missions available as you complete other certain missions.

As mentioned you will receive many rewards for the completion of the quests including experience, items, soul rewards and more which you may find useful later on in the game.

The next type of quest which you may be interested in is the dungeon type. Unlike the storyline type this type of mission is one that needs group help. As for your group you will need one that is well rounded; a healer, a defensive player, someone who can attack from long range and someone who can deal a lot of physical damage. These are the main players you'll need in your group and you may also need more of one type of person too.

The goal for this type of mission is defeat the bosses and obstacles that come at you. It is a fun type of quest to play though especially if you have a group of friends on the game already.

Make sure that before you start with your journey that you get all the quests from the quest hub. This will help you save some time on the game and will mean that you will also level up through the game even faster.

I recommend that you only do one of the rift quests at a time as this will save you time traveling around and trying to complete multiple ones at a time. You should try to make sure that you also complete them in one area first so you do not waste your time traveling to different areas of the map just for one mission.

Rift Leveling Areas – Your Guide To Reaching Level 50

Just like any other game rift too has its own rift leveling areas. These are areas which you can use to help increase your level in the world of Telara. As a gamer you know that this is the most important thing in many games is to reach a high level or if there is a cap (as there is here) to reach that cap as this makes the game a lot easier for you to play through . To do this you are going to need to follow a road map of borrowing areas to reach 50 and become an elite warrior of Telara.

When you first start the game you will go through creating your character, when doing this you are going to be asked to choose one of two races – The Guardians and The Defiant and whoever one of these that you choose will mean you start off in one of two areas; The Guardians over at Mathosia whereas The Defiants will start over at Terminus. To make sure that you get an overall feel of the game you are made to level up in these areas until a certain level before you can actually leave and explore the rest of Telara.

Once you leave these areas you are free to roam around though this is a mistake many people do. There are areas which should only be traveled to when you reach a specific level, if you try to go through these areas without getting to the proper level you'll probably find yourself struggling to get through the game as some monsters will get tougher and so will the quests.

There are 3 benchmarks that you want to follow in the road to pushing for the 50 cap.

1st Marker – Up to 35

When you are trying to reach the 35 marker you want to focus on the areas that are Freemarch / Silverwood, Stonefield / Gloamwood, Scarlet gorge and Scarwood reach (which means race that you choose in the game). Playing in these areas should be easy for you to level up and you can go on to craft your builds to make it easier for you.

2nd Marker – Up To Level 40

Once you have completed the 1st marker you are now given more levels that you can access which are Draftsland and Moonshade. Make sure that you reach the top of this marker because you will end up wasting time and resources trying to get through the game which will be a struggle for you.

3rd Marker – Level 50

With the final stretch you are given the final few level to boost your way up to the cap marker which are Iron pine peaks, Shimmersand and Stillmoor. It is recommended that the first area that you take on be Iron pine or Stillmoor to get you up to 43/45 and after this you can push the final few over at Shimmersand.

These rift leveling areas are created for a specific purpose to stop you from wasting time and resources and instead enjoy the game that you are playing.

Rift Leveling Areas – The Best Areas To Increase Your Characters Levels

To make the game easier for you rift created rift lending areas which are specific to the level that you are at. This keeps you from wandering into the tougher areas where a higher level is needed to do all the quests etc. To avoid wasting precious time it is recommended that you stay within your zone to reach your potential level before considering moving to the other zones that require a higher level.

When you first enter the world of Telara you will have chosen either The Guardians or The Defiants and by picking these you will start off in completely different areas; The Guardians over at Mathosia whereas The Defiants will start over at Terminus and regardless of which side you chose you will be restricted to this area until you reach a certain level in the game so that you are a bit more comfortable with the game and how it all works.

Now when you are able to leave your zone there are a few areas which are recommended that you go to if you are under level 35; Silverwood, Stonefield, Scarlet gorge, scarwood reach being the popular ones. Here you should just focus on creating a rift build that can help you level up quickly and once you do this you will fly to level 35 with no problem and can move onto the next zone.

If you are not past level 35 then I can not stop you from leaving these areas but please note that the level of monsters and difficulty of the quests increase.

Once you have gotten to level 35 it is time to get yourself up to level 40. This may take some time for some of you but keep your goal of getting to 50 in mind. Now to get to the 40 places you should focus on are Draftsland mainly and the other option that you have is Moonshade highlands.

Now for the final 10 you are going to struggle and many people end up giving up between the 35-50 options because they can not do it so make sure that you persevere and focus on Shimmersand, Iron pine peaks and Stillmoor.

During the game you will find different challenges and different rifts in your rift leveling areas to help you increase your level faster.

Quick tip – Increase your speed to less the amount of time it takes for you to go from camp to camp and through the areas.

Rift Builds – Structuring Your Build To Get More Out Of Your Character

One thing that makes rift stand out from its competitors are the rift builds. These make the game more complex and unique which is something that this MMORPG does in a way that sets it apart from the rest. Since the launch earlier this year there have been many gamers jumping onto this game daily due to what it offers which in fact makes it a big competitor to the more infamous MMORPG World Of Warcraft (WOW). Jumping back to the beginning one of the things that make this game unique is the builds and how you can structure them around your character.

Your character can be put under four different calls; Mage, Warrior, Cleric and Rogue. These four callings each have their own strengths and weaknesses and to enhance these you can use souls. As a player you can only select 3 (3 together is called a build) out of 8 but they can be different for each character and can make different changes for your character which allows you to specialize in something eg if you are a warrior you may focus around defense especially if you are in a group but the great thing is that you can switch up your choice and make your warrior defensive and also give them a strong attack as well! Souls can be great for enhancing attributes of your character which is why you need to craft them properly to get the most out of them.

As mentioned above there are times where you'll need a group of people for a quest, event, raids and such. For these groups you'd find that they all have a defensive person (a tank), someone who can deal a lot of damage, a healer and someone who can keep enemies at bay with crow control and you may also find that you have secondary positions as well. For this type of play you can specialize in a specific department and let other people specialize in other places which can make your group stronger and more functional.

There are times when you'll need to go through solo play in this game to do things like quests and the rift builds you need to put together are more general or across the board type that will quickly build up your level which is the main goal you are aiming to hit when it comes down to the game of rift.

Rift beginners guide are something that is being talked about a lot at the moment. Other popular games too have such a guide that is tailor towards that game itself (for example new games such as call of duty and battlefield 3 have game guides out at the moment). As great as this sounds it leaves you with one question, what is the best guide to use?

What Is This Guide

First of all for those that do not know this guide is basically instructions for the game which was created by people playing the BETA version of the game before it was released. These instructions guide you through the game like a helping hand for example with this guide something that is popular is the type of builds to create in the game, with the help of this guide you can learn how to create a build for the 4 calls if it be for raiding, PvP or just for plain and simple quick borrowing.

How Will It Help?

As mentioned the guide is basically instructions of how to get through the game in the easiest way possible. There are many guides out there and the basic priorities they look at are how to get you through the levels, how to get the most out the builds and how to get through the game.

Do I Need It?

Now for the question whether you need it or not is a choice that is clearly up to you. The reason you're reading this shows that you are interested in the guides. Yes they may take the fun out of the game but on the other hand you do not have to refer to these guidelines strictly, you can just use them as tips when you get stuck somewhere or for example if you want to create a build for your mage, warrior, rogue or cleric.

What's The Best Guide?

I can not say which guide is the best because there are some pretty good ones out there and some vary from what they do and what is included in them.

For example there are many people that prefer to read what to do and for this there are many written in just worded formatting which may be a lot of reading but some people do prefer this.

Another type of guide which will probably be more helpful especially for beginners is one that is in not only written format but in video format too meaning that you can visually see what to do and where to go and will never get lost with this rift beginners guide .
